If you enjoy having a a drink occasionally, leave your cash at home if you set out to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Empty your evening bag, your money belt, and keep all cash, credit cards and checks at home. Take only the money you intend to spend on drinks, tips and whatever pocket change you intend to throw away and leave the rest behind.
Cynical? Not at all. Realistic more like. You can have a profit after a drunken evening out with your compatriots and be lucky sufficiently to catch a long roll at a smokin craps table. Keep that adventure considering that it’s as brief as it gets if you continually drink alcohol and bet. The pair simply don’t mix.
Leaving your moola back at the hotel is a little bit dramatic, but precautionary actions for dramatic actions is a requirement. If you play to profit, then do not consume alcohol and gamble. If you are able to afford to blow your $$$$ nary a worry, then consume all the free alcohol you can handle, but do not take charge cards and cheques to toss into the mix of going after losses after your drunken head loses all the cash!
Permit me to carry this a single step more. do not drink and then jump on to the internet to gamble in your preferred casino either. I love to drink from the coziness of my condo, but seeing that I’m linked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit near by, I can not drink and gamble.
What’s the reason? Even though I do not consume alcohol to excess, when I drink, it is certainly sufficient to blur my better judgment. I wager, so I don’t consume alcohol when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, do not wager at the same time. Both create a decimating, and crazy, cocktail.
